                                      Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th is a unlucky day. Why? It's authors compared the ratio of traffic volume to the number of automobile accidents on to different dates, Friday the 6th and Friday the 13th, over a period of years in hopes of mapping "the relation between health, behavior, and superstition surrounding Friday 13th in the United Kingdom.

Current events

This week in Malmo central train station (Sweden) a 9 year old boy traveled with the train without a ticket and the guard caught the boy without a ticket and pushed him down to the ground and sat on him. He smashed his head repeatedly in the ground and held his hand on the boy's mouth so he couldn't breathe. He can't work until the case is solved.

We think that the guard overreacted on the 9 year old boy. He was so young and the guard was a grownup who is much bigger and stronger than the boy. We think that he never should get his work license back.

Valentine's Day
Each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.” Valentine’s Day is named after a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia.

At school today we celebrated Valentine's Day by making a "heart" on the schoolyard.
